Limited Edition Single Cask Single Malt

Something a little different from Thomson Whisky. Utilising barrels that are available to us in the wine region West of Auckland, head distiller Mat Thomson has released one of his experimental casks, where Manuka Smoke spirit has been matured in a French oak ex-New Zealand Chardonnay barrel. This limited edition bottling is the contents of a single cask. There are just 105 bottles available.

Tasting Notes: Heavy malt character, with distinctive stewed stone fruits, decadent sweetness, structured minerality and warming smoke notes.

Limited edition: 105 bottles Cask: French Oak ex-New Zealand Chardonnay cask. Malt: Manuka Smoke malt, 100% NZ grown.
