The Old Potrero from Anchor Brewery & Distillery Company is a whiskey produced in the 18th Century pot distilled style and bottled at 51.5%. It has a nose that offers up a spiciness, with cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper. The palate is savoury with a dry finish with pecan and walnuts.

Nose: Floral and sweet at first, before big handfuls of clove and cumin come along.

Palate: Red grapes, ripe bananas and a hint of zesty orange. The floral top-notes remain.

Finish: Subtly vegetal and herbaceous on the finish.
