Glenallachie 10 Year Old French Oak Whisky 700ml

This release from GlenAllachie's 'Virgin Oak Series' was initially matured in ex-American oak (Quercus Alba) casks before spending approximately 18 months in French (Quercus Robur) oak casks, specially selected from the Haute-Garonne region close to the Pyrenees.

Nose: Signature heather honey and waves of orange peel, followed by caramel and orchard fruits with mocha lingering.

Palate: Flavours of heather honey again, with more mocha, brittle toffee and grapefruit. An earthy tannic feel joins ginger and cinnamon on the finish.
