From the outset, Billy Walker intended for the GlenAllachie to be a brand that was known for incredible sherry maturation. As a robust and complex spirit, GlenAllachie stands up well to aging in rich Spanish Oak sherry casks. This particular Butt has bestowed notes of indulgent mocha, tangy orange, gingerbread and glazed fgs upon the GlenAllachie spirit.

NOSE: Waves of vanilla, molasses and mocha, with almonds, nutmeg and cinnamon in the background.

TASTE: Dark chocolate, treacle and figs with nutmeg and ginger, fusing with heather honey and orange zest.
