Glentauchers 1993 27 Year Old 'Gordon & Macphail' Connoisseurs Choice Whisky 700ml

This is a classic G&M “Connoisseurs Choice” — a long-aged Speyside malt given extra depth and dimension by a first-fill sherry puncheon, bottled at cask strength, and released in a limited edition.

Because it’s cask strength, the whisky retains more of its original maturation-character and intensity — something lovers of richer, sherry-influenced drams tend to appreciate.

Nose: Rich sultanas / raisins, milk-chocolate-covered hazelnuts and a gentle hint of ginger

Palate: Cocoa powder, brown sugar and a balancing note of black pepper.

Finish: Long and generous. Expect lingering toasted almonds, warm mature oak, soft spice, and gentle chocolatey-bitter echoes.
