Gin

Originating from the United Kingdom in the early 17th century, taking a turn on an older Dutch liquor. Gin became popular after the government allowed unlicensed gin production. The gin craze later came about when gin distilleries opened a focus to the poorer demographic. Using the juniper berries as its predominant flavour. Gin has now become widespread, with world class distilleries in Spain, Germany, United States of America, and our own slice of Heaven, New Zealand.
