An incredibly flavourful, viscous and juicy Tasmanian maritime single malt whisky yet approachable for the everyday occasion at 43%.

Made using American Oak ex-Bourbon casks with a layer of French Oak ex-Tawny Port matured whisky.

World Whiskies Awards 2024 - An earlier batch of Waubs Original was awarded Category Winner for Small Batch Single Malt Whisky, 12 years & Under in Australia.

Nose: Delicate sweet spices, there's a salty mineral element that only enhances the toffee.

Palate: Big toffee sweetness but the saltiness cuts through to balance it perfectly. That salty character addition enables the malt and the cask influence to really shine, biscuit, creamed apples, light florals and nectar. Rounded and developing into a nice deep raisin syrup finish. Evolving and complex especially for a 43%.

Finish: ust yum, you get that tawny butter in the back palate and caramel butterscotch at the front.
