Wormtub 10 years old Batch #6 Cask Strength Sherry Cask Finish Whisky 700ml

The latest batch of Wormtub has arrived, an intense sherry cask finished whisky from an undisclosed distillery in Speyside. Named after a wormtub condenser, which is the traditional equipment used to return the spirit vapour back to a liquid during distillation. This is a hearty dram, opening with a rush of black forest gateaux, rum & raisin truffle balls and booze-soaked cherries. Notes of caramelized orange and walnut tannin add a dryness, with the palate being sweet, weighty and long with the flavour of hot fudge sauce.
